Diagnosis Before Parts

A No-Start Is a Symptom. Not a Parts List.

The test path changes by engine and by what the truck does: no crank, crank-no-start, hot no-start, starts then dies or an intermittent failure.

The No-Start Diagnostic Process

1. Define the Symptom

We document temperature, cranking behavior, warning lights, smoke and what happened before the failure.

2. Establish the Basics

Battery condition, cranking speed, fuel quality, fluid levels and complete module scan come first.

3. Test the Platform

7.3L and 6.0L high-pressure oil systems require different evidence than 6.4L and 6.7L common-rail systems.

4. Confirm and Verify

We isolate the cause, explain the evidence, obtain authorization and repeat the original condition after repair.
